September 23, 1912. When the automobile allows for a brand new form of tourism although there is not yet a vocabulary for this new form of transportation.

Médéa le 23 Septembre1912

Chers parents,

Medea September 23, 1912

Dear parents,

We received your letter dated September 14 as well as the newspapers. This week got very cold, with sleet; we had days of 4 and 5 degrees celsius; it was no longer Algeria ; but the weather is nice again and tomorrow we will have an automobile party in Damiette and Loverdo. Sweet kisses from all of us. Remi.

In the picture, we are facing each other, but the front seat can rotate to form a phaeton. For the children, face to face is better.
